Meet the Baker

Hi, I’m Leanne, the heart behind The Chubby Cookie Bakery.

In early 2024, I had a life-changing experience that reminded me how powerful it is to be cared for with selflessness and love. During that time, I was surrounded by people whose nurturing spirit and generosity left a deep imprint on my heart. I came home with a renewed sense of purpose and a desire to serve others—to offer the kind of warmth and comfort I had been so generously given.

When I came back, I began baking for my family, drawn to the idea that something as simple as a homemade cookie could carry love and intention. I experimented with sourdough, pizza dough, cupcakes and cakes but it was cookies that truly called to me. For over a year, I refined my recipes, pouring my heart and soul into every batch.

The Chubby Cookie was born from that journey. Every cookie I make is a reflection of that experience, crafted with premium ingredients, joy, and a deep desire to offer comfort, one sweet bite at a time.
